GUIDING CARE IN NEONATAL PATIENTS

CONFIDENCE IN DELIVERIES.
DESIGNED FOR FRAGILE PATIENTS.

ALL FROM THE HEART.

Pulse oximetry can help you guide interventions in Labour & Delivery — or frustrate your efforts to respond effectively. The difference depends on the technology and its ability to post timely and accurate information in real-world conditions. Nellcor™ pulse oximetry with Oximax™ technology meets the key challenges in the delivery room.

SPEED TO POST & ACCURATE PULSE RATES WITH A CARDIAC BASED TECHNOLOGY.

ACCURATE PULSE RATES

Why?

Because it relies on cardiac-based signals to generate readings closely tied to the patient’s physiology.

The Result?

Consistent performance during a number of challenging conditions, including patient motion, noise and low perfusion, all of which can impede the assessment of patient respiratory status

A published study revealed an artifact in Masimo pulse oximeters, that increased saturation values of 87-90% by an additional 2%.

In CCHD screening, an increase from 89% to 91% could mask some cases of CCHD,resulting in false negative screens with the Masimo pulse oximeters.4
